About Windstorm

Windstorm is best in a **Steel-based control or midrange deck** that wants cheap board-wide damage to punish swarm decks, especially if your local meta has lots of low-HP characters, evasive threats, or location-heavy strategies; it’s basically a flexible anti-wide sweeper that can help you stabilize and then win on tempo. That said, it is often **outclassed by stronger Steel removal or board-clearing options** depending on the matchup, because 4 ink for only 1 damage to everything and then 2 to Evasive is sometimes not enough to clean up the board decisively unless the enemy has many 1- and 2-health targets; cards that are more efficient at outright clearing or trading up, such as **Grab Your Sword** in many Steel decks, are usually more universally powerful, though Windstorm can be better in metas where Evasive characters and locations are common. It **should see play as a meta call**, not an auto-include: good in the right environment, but not generally one of the best Steel actions
