About Abjure
Abjure, Instant, designed by Ted Naifeh first released in Jun, 1997 in the set Weatherlight. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
Abjure could be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on countering opponent's spells while utilizing blue permanents that can be easily sacrificed. However, there are more versatile counterspells like Mana Leak or Force of Will that may be more effective in most situations, making Abjure less likely to see play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.
