Ram Wrangler would fit well in a Midrange Hunter deck that focuses on controlling the board with beasts. While it has the potential to summon powerful beasts, its reliance on having a beast in play can be inconsistent. Houndmaster or Savannah Highmane may provide more reliable value in a similar mana cost slot, but the RNG of Ram Wrangler can be high-risk, high-reward. Overall, its situational nature may prevent it from being a staple in competitive Hunter decks.
