About Schism
Schism, Spell, designed by Grafit Studio first released in Feb, 2026 in the set CATACLYSM.
Schism looks tailored for a tempo or combo-oriented Priest deck that relies on sticking a high-value minion and snowballing the board, since giving +2/+3 and Elusive (untargetable by spells and Hero Powers) twice while summoning copies can rapidly create multiple hard-to-remove threats; it would be especially strong with minions that have powerful ongoing effects, scaling text, or strong keywords (like Lifesteal, Reborn, or “whenever” triggers), making it ideal for Aggro Priest, Bless/Boar-style combo Priest, or even a midrange build built around resilient minions. However, at 4 mana it competes with more consistent Priest power plays like Power Word: Synchronize, Grave Digging, Cathedral of Atonement, or Bless, which either provide immediate card advantage, stronger single-target lethality, or cheaper duplication effects; historically, Priest also prefers cheaper buffs (Power Word: Shield–style) or more explosive finishers. If Schism requires an already-stuck minion and doesn’t impact
