Setesh, Minion, designed by Ivan Fomin first released in September 2026 in the set Reign of the Black Empire.

Setesh would best fit a slow Control or Fatigue Warrior deck that can consistently survive until the delayed payoff, build additional Armor, and protect the eventual Taunt Golem; however, the card is probably too slow for competitive play because it costs seven mana, gives the opponent two turns to prepare, and risks losing its value if your Armor is consumed by damage or other effects before the conversion. Odyn, Prime Designate is generally the better card for an Armor-based Warrior win condition because it turns every later Armor gain into immediate attack power, while defensive alternatives such as Sanitize or Brawl provide more reliable short-term stabilization. Setesh could be fun in a heavily defensive, value-oriented Warrior list, but unless the Golem’s stats are unusually large or the metagame is extremely slow, it should not see serious play over more immediate and flexible options.
