About Afflict
Afflict, Instant, designed by Roger Raupp first released in Oct, 2001 in the set Odyssey and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Afflict can be a useful addition to a deck focused on controlling the board and drawing cards, especially in a Black-based control deck. However, there are better cards like Fatal Push or Dismember that offer more versatile removal options or card advantage. Afflict could see play in a budget deck or as a filler card until better options become available.
