About Eternal Firebolt
Eternal Firebolt, Spell, designed by BOSi Studio first released in Jan, 2026 in the set Across the Timeways.
**Eternal Firebolt** would fit best in a slower, control-oriented Mage/Priest deck that values repeatable removal, sustain, and incremental resource generation. The Lifesteal makes it appealing in grindy matchups where stabilizing against aggression matters, and the return-to-hand effect can generate long-term value if your opponent plays into it with low- to mid-health minions. However, 3 mana for 3 damage is inefficient by modern Hearthstone standards—Mage has historically had stronger removal like *Frostbolt*, *Flame Geyser*, or other efficient burn tools, while Priest typically has access to more flexible or unconditional removal such as *Shadow Word* effects. Because the card only returns if it kills a minion and only deals 3 damage, it can be awkward against larger threats and weak in faster metas. Overall, it could see niche play in a value-heavy control list that specifically benefits from spell recursion or Lifesteal synergies, but it would likely be outclassed by more efficie
