About Nested Ghoul
Nested Ghoul, Creature — phyrexian zombie warrior, designed by Dave Kendall first released in Feb, 2011 in the set Mirrodin Besieged and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Nested Ghoul can be a valuable addition to a mono-black aggro or sacrifice deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a steady stream of 2/2 tokens whenever it is damaged. However, for a similar mana cost, a card like Gravecrawler offers more consistent value with its ability to return from the graveyard multiple times, making it a stronger choice in most cases. While Nested Ghoul can be situationally useful, it may not see widespread play in competitive decks due to its reliance on being damaged to generate tokens.
Rules
06/01/11
If multiple sources deal damage to Nested Ghoul simultaneously (because it was blocked by multiple creatures, for example), the ability will trigger for each source dealing damage to Nested Ghoul.
