Cindersword would benefit a Rogue deck that focuses on utilizing cards with Dark Gift effects to trigger the Battlecry efficiently. However, there are better cards that provide stronger effects for a similar cost, such as SI:7 Agent or Eviscerate. Due to its conditional activation and competition with more powerful options, Cindersword may not see significant play in competitive Rogue decks.
