This card would benefit a control or midrange Paladin deck looking to establish board presence and protect against aggressive strategies. While Hammer of the Naaru provides a solid 6/6 Taunt minion immediately, its high cost may limit its effectiveness in faster-paced matchups. Other cards like Tirion Fordring or Ragnaros the Firelord may offer more value in certain situations, but Hammer of the Naaru could still see play as a situational tech choice in the right meta.
