This card would fit well in a Mech-themed deck in Hearthstone, especially in a deck focused on board control and value. While Mechanical Whelp is a strong card on its own due to the potential 7/7 Mechanical Dragon it summons upon death, there are better options like Zilliax or SN1P-SN4P that provide immediate impact and versatility. However, if the deck is looking to generate big threats and has ways to trigger the Deathrattle consistently, Mechanical Whelp could certainly see play as a solid late-game threat.
