This Bonechewer Vanguard card would be beneficial in a control or midrange deck that focuses on board presence and trading efficiently. It can be particularly strong in a deck that can consistently trigger its ability to gain attack, making it a threatening taunt minion. However, there are better options available, such as Shieldmasta or Tar Creeper, which provide more immediate value and are more difficult to remove. Overall, Bonechewer Vanguard could see play in certain decks, but may not be a top choice compared to other taunt minions available in Hearthstone.
