This card, Spectral Trainee, would be a great addition to a spell-heavy control Mage deck in Hearthstone. It synergizes well with spell-focused strategies, allowing for board control by dealing damage to all enemy minions after casting spells. While it can be effective in certain situations, there are potentially better options like Flame Ward or Blizzard for AoE board clears, depending on the deck's overall strategy.
