The E.M.P. Operative card would be beneficial in a Mech-heavy deck, such as Mech Paladin or Mech Hunter, where it can provide valuable removal against opponent's Mech minions. However, in a more general deck, there are better options like Acidic Swamp Ooze or Harrison Jones for weapon removal, making E.M.P. Operative less versatile. Its situational use may limit its overall playability, unless the meta heavily favors Mech decks.
