Arator the Redeemer, Minion, designed by Zoltan Boros first released in May, 2026 in the set CATACLYSM.

Arator the Redeemer would fit best in a **Silver Hand Recruit / Dude Paladin** deck that floods the board with 1/1 Recruits using cards like *Stand Against Darkness*, *Muster for Battle* (Wild), *Promotion*, *Lothraxion the Redeemed*, and Paladin’s Hero Power, since doubling their stats and giving them **Taunt** turns a wide board of small tokens into a sudden wall of large threats that can both protect your life total and threaten lethal. However, such a card would likely be strong only in slower metas where you can reliably stick multiple Recruits before turn 5; in faster formats it may be too slow or “win-more.” Comparable or often stronger payoff cards include *Quartermaster* (immediate +2/+2 without needing a full board beforehand), *Level Up!* (huge buff plus Taunt), and *Lothraxion the Redeemed* (making Recruits sticky with Divine Shield), which can be more consistent or harder to answer.
