About Bitter End

Bitter End, Spell, designed by Bima Kusuma first released in Jan, 2026 in the set Across the Timeways.

**Bitter End** would fit best in a Control Mage, Control Warrior, or Reno-style control deck that can reliably set up chip damage across multiple enemy minions before casting it, since its power depends on enemies already being damaged to convert the freeze into full removal; decks using Whirlwind effects (Warrior), Reckless Apprentice–style pings, spell-based AoE, or minion-based spread damage would benefit most. However, at 5 mana it competes with very strong board control options like **Brawl**, **Blizzard**, **Rolling Fireball**, **Shield Shatter**, or even **Flamestrike**, which are more consistent and don’t require prior damage to function fully; because Bitter End is situational and positioning-dependent, it would likely be niche rather than staple, potentially playable in slower metas with wide boards but generally outclassed by more reliable AoE removal in most competitive decks.
