This card, Calming Licid, would be beneficial in a control or defensive deck looking to stall the opponent's attacks. While it can be useful in certain situations, there are likely better options available such as Pacifism or Arrest which offer similar effects without the need for additional mana to maintain. Overall, Calming Licid may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to other more efficient options.
