Intermediate Chirography would fit best in a black-based sacrifice or Orzhov (white-black) “aristocrats” deck that can reliably lose life on its own turn (through effects like pain lands, Phyrexian Arena–style cards, or sacrifice outlets such as Viscera Seer with Blood Artist effects) and that also cares about counters or modified creatures; the free 2/1 flying Inkling provides sacrifice fodder, the Level 2 ability rewards incidental life loss with +1/+1 counters (good in counter-synergy or modified-matters shells), and Level 3 supports grindy, token-based value if you can consistently have modified creatures die. However, at three total mana before it generates ongoing value and additional mana to reach full potential, it is relatively slow compared to stronger engines like Bitterblossom (more efficient repeatable token generation), Wedding Announcement (token production plus card draw), or The Meathook Massacre (life-drain and board control in aristocrats), and even Bastion of Rememb
