Mossbinding, Spell, designed by Brian Adriel first released in Mar, 2026 in the set CATACLYSM.
Mossbinding would fit best in a Token or Ramp Druid deck that can generate large amounts of mana in a single turn, since the card scales with unspent mana and rewards explosive turns rather than early tempo; in a low-curve Aggro Druid it would often just be two small bodies, but in Ramp Druid (with cards that grant extra mana crystals) it could function as a scalable mid- to late-game board swing similar to Glowfly Swarm or Scale of Onyxia, though it is generally weaker than established powerhouses like Scale of Onyxia (which provides immediate board control) or Arbor Up (which buffs an existing wide board more efficiently). The main issue is vulnerability to board clears and the “all-in” mana investment, making it risky unless you can protect or immediately leverage the stats (e.g., with buffs or taunt synergies), so while it could see niche play in Ramp/Token hybrid builds, it would likely not be a staple unless the meta strongly favors wide, scalable minion boards without heavy remo
