Raven Familiar, Creature — bird, designed by Edward P. Beard, Jr. first released in Feb, 1999 in the set Urza's Legacy and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A control or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering would benefit from using Raven Familiar due to its ability to provide card advantage and potentially filter draws. However, there are better cards with similar effects such as Mulldrifter, which offers a larger body and additional card draw. Raven Familiar could see play in more budget-conscious decks or those looking for redundancy in card draw effects.
