About Imp Gang Stooge

Imp Gang Stooge, Minion - demon, designed by Brian Adriel first released in Jun, 2026 in the set Escape from Violet Hold.

Imp Gang Stooge is best suited for slower Warlock archetypes that can afford a defensive 3‑drop and are interested in long‑game value, such as Control Warlock or certain fatigue/big‑demon variants, because its Taunt helps stall aggressive decks while its Deathrattle plants a powerful 9/9 Lifesteal threat for later; however, putting the demon on the bottom of your deck makes it slow and inconsistent unless you run heavy draw or deck‑manipulation tools, which limits its reliability. In most metas, stronger 3‑cost defensive options like Tar Creeper (for pure early defense), Dragged Below (for tempo plus removal), or more synergistic demon cards like Voidcaller (which cheats big demons directly into play) tend to be better and more immediately impactful. Overall, Imp Gang Stooge is a niche, somewhat gimmicky value card that could see play in slower, experimental Control or Big Warlock builds, but it is generally outclassed in competitive decks by faster or more proactive alternatives.
