About Cabal Therapy
Cabal Therapy, Sorcery, designed by Ron Spencer first released in May, 2002 in the set Judgment and was printed exactly in 9 different ways.
A deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's hand and graveyard, such as a reanimator or control deck, would benefit from including Cabal Therapy. While Cabal Therapy is a strong card for its ability to strip key cards from the opponent's hand, some may argue that Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek are better options due to their broader targeting range and immediate effect. However, Cabal Therapy can be powerful in the right deck and should definitely see play in strategies that can take advantage of its unique mechanics.
Rules
03/19/21
A spell cast using flashback will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, is countered, or leaves the stack in some other way.
03/19/21
If a card with flashback is put into your graveyard during your turn, you can cast it if it’s legal to do so before any other player can take any actions.
03/19/21
You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card’s type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using flashback only when you could normally cast a sorcery.
06/08/16
You name the card as Cabal Therapy resolves, not as you cast it. Then the targeted player reveals their hand and discards if appropriate. No player may choose to take actions between you naming the card and the targeted player revealing and discarding.
