About Charity

Charity, Spell, designed by Bima Kusuma first released in May, 2026 in the set CATACLYSM.

“Charity” would fit best in a Paladin token or swarm deck that floods the board with small, expendable minions and expects them to die in trades or to board clears, then reloads with larger versions for tempo swing—especially in aggressive or midrange builds that can pressure early and punish opponents for clearing. It synergizes particularly well with Divine Shield minions, Recruits, and deathrattle/token generators, since those archetypes naturally create multiple friendly deaths in a single turn. However, compared to existing resurrection or refill tools (like Stand Against Darkness–style mass summon effects, Divine Favor–style refill, or cards that directly resurrect minions without needing them to die the same turn), this card is more conditional and reactive, making it weaker in slower control lists and unreliable if you’re behind without setup. It could see niche play in a dedicated token Paladin that can engineer favorable trades before casting it, but unless the meta heavily r
