Ferocious Charge, Instant, designed by Anthony S. Waters first released in Jun, 2004 in the set Fifth Dawn.
This type of card can be beneficial in an aggressive green stompy deck, as it provides a power boost to a key creature while also allowing the player to filter their library with the scry ability. However, there are arguably better options available, such as Vines of Vastwood or Blossoming Defense, which offer protection in addition to a pump effect, making them more versatile choices. Ferocious Charge could see play in more budget or casual decks where the scry ability adds value, but competitive decks may opt for other cards with a similar effect and additional utility.
