This card would be beneficial in a Paladin deck that focuses on utilizing Secrets to control the board and gain advantage. Decks that run a good number of Secrets and have ways to consistently trigger them would benefit the most from Northwatch Commander. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects or better value in certain situations, Northwatch Commander can still be a solid inclusion in a Secret Paladin deck due to its potential for card draw and board presence.
