About Oracle
Oracle, Vanguard, designed by Dan Frazier first released in May, 1997 in the set Vanguard Series.
Oracle can be a valuable addition to a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, allowing for tactical untapping and removal from combat of attacking creatures. While it offers utility, there are potentially better options like Maze of Ith or Teferi, Time Raveler that provide similar effects with added benefits, making Oracle less likely to see play in competitive decks.
