Scrappy Defender fits best in slower Warrior decks—especially Control or midrange “highlander” builds—that naturally maintain 25+ cards in deck through the early and mid game, letting it consistently function as a 4-mana 8/5 with Taunt, which is extremely efficient for tempo and protection.
