Talya Earthstrider would fit best in a Hunter deck built around **Animal Companion synergy**, such as a Beast/Companion-focused Midrange or Highlander-style Hunter that runs multiple Animal Companion generators (like *Animal Companion*, *Wild Spirits*, or cards that repeat/cast spells). The effect is value-oriented and snowballs over time, so it’s strongest in slower, board-based Hunter lists that plan to generate multiple Companion waves rather than aggressive Face Hunter builds. However, at 5 mana, Talya competes with very powerful Hunter plays, and since she provides no immediate board impact unless you already have follow-up, she can be slow.
