About Medivh's Triumph

Medivh's Triumph, Spell, designed by Vika Yarova first released in Feb, 2026 in the set CATACLYSM.

Medivh’s Triumph would fit best in a Control or Highlander (Reno-style) Priest deck that consistently runs multiple Legendary minions, since reducing it to (1) mana makes it an extremely efficient board clear that can be paired with other plays in the same turn; in slower Priest builds that naturally include powerful Legendaries (like Elise, Aman’Thul, or Reno), the cost reduction would be fairly reliable. However, at its base cost of 5 mana for 4 damage to all minions (including your own), it competes with and is often worse than options like **Clean the Scene** (which can clear more through Infuse), **Lightbomb** (in Wild, often stronger against big boards), **Shadow Word: Ruin** (efficient against large threats), or even **Whirlpool** for late-game removal, depending on the meta. Because it damages your own board and requires a Legendary in play to be truly efficient, it would likely be a niche inclusion rather than a staple, seeing play mainly in specific Legendary-heavy control li
