Triskelion could be a valuable addition to a deck focused on direct damage or creature removal, as its ability to deal damage to any target can be a versatile tool in controlling the board. However, it may not be the most efficient choice compared to other cards like Walking Ballista, which offers similar abilities but with more flexibility and scalability. While Triskelion could still see play in certain strategies, it may not be a top-tier option in competitive decks.

If you activate the ability of an attacking or blocking Triskelion during the declare blockers step, it will deal less combat damage as a result. If you wait until the combat damage step, but Triskelion is dealt lethal damage, it’ll be destroyed before you get a chance to activate its ability.
