About Commander Geddon
Commander Geddon, Minion - elemental, designed by Ivan Fomin first released in Mar, 2026 in the set CATACLYSM.
This version of Commander Geddon would fit best in a slow Control or Combo Warrior deck that relies on specific high-impact cards to win, such as Odyn-style burst lists, Fire combo setups, or heavy late-game bombs, because replacing draws with a discounted Discover from your own deck gives powerful tutoring and mana cheating while filtering out weaker pieces; however, at 7 mana and requiring a turn to set up, it is likely too slow compared to more efficient deck-manipulation tools like Lorekeeper Polkelt (which guarantees draw order immediately), Taelan Fordring (which tutors your highest-cost minion), or even From the Depths (which discounts multiple cards without sacrificing future draws). While the effect is strong in theory for combo consistency, skipping natural draws and paying 7 mana for a 7/5 body makes it vulnerable and tempo-negative, so unless the meta is extremely slow and combo-focused, this card would probably be fringe at best and outclassed by cheaper, faster tutoring o
