About Conifer Strider
Conifer Strider, Creature — elemental, designed by YW Tang first released in Mar, 2015 in the set Dragons of Tarkir and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck focused on protecting key creatures or building up a strong board presence would benefit from including Conifer Strider due to its Hexproof ability, which can make it difficult for opponents to remove. While there may be better options in terms of power level or versatility, such as Thrun, the Last Troll, Conifer Strider could still see play in a deck looking to protect its key threats and maintain a resilient board state.
