About Deadly Bribe

Deadly Bribe, Spell, designed by Zoltan Boros first released in Jun, 2026 in the set Event.

**Deadly Bribe** would fit best in a tempo or midrange Rogue deck that wants efficient single-target removal while maintaining mana flexibility, since destroying a minion for 3 mana is strong tempo and Rogue can often leverage Coins better than many classes through Combo activators and burst turns. The downside—giving your opponent a Coin—makes it risky against slower decks that can convert that extra mana into powerful swing turns, so it’s most attractive in aggressive or tempo lists that aim to stay ahead on board and pressure life totals. However, Rogue already has highly efficient removal options like **Assassinate**, **Vile Spine Slayer** (in Wild), **Serrated Bone Spike**, or other tempo-positive tools that don’t give the opponent resources, making Deadly Bribe somewhat inconsistent and matchup-dependent. Overall, it could see niche play in tempo-oriented Rogue builds that reliably trigger Combo, but it would likely not be a staple if more efficient, no-downside removal is availa
