Demonic Confinement would mainly fit in a Demon-focused Warlock deck, particularly a midrange or tempo Demon Warlock that runs sticky or high-value Demons and can afford to “hide” one for two turns to protect it from removal while setting up a stronger board swing; it has some niche utility for protecting a large Demon or retriggering synergy after it awakens with +3/+3, but making a minion Dormant for two turns is a major tempo loss, which aggressive Imp Warlock or fast combo builds generally can’t afford. In most metas, more proactive and immediate-impact cards like **Vile Library** (for efficient board-wide scaling in Imp decks), **Shady Bartender** (for instant board buffs), or strong standalone Demon synergy cards provide better pressure without sacrificing board presence, so while Demonic Confinement can be clever in slower Demon builds or as tech to dodge removal, it is typically too slow and situational to consistently see competitive play unless the format heavily rewards prot
