This Earth Elemental card would be beneficial in a Control Shaman deck, providing a strong Taunt minion to protect your hero and other valuable minions. However, there are better options like Walking Fountain which offers healing and removal in addition to Taunt, making it a more versatile choice. Overall, Earth Elemental could see situational play in specific control-oriented Shaman decks but may not be a top-tier choice compared to other options available.
