The Light of the New Moon card would benefit control-oriented Priest decks that focus on buffing and maintaining board presence, as it provides a significant stat boost to a minion and has the potential to be reused with its spell-cast mechanic. While there are other cards that can provide similar effects, such as Power Word: Shield for a cheaper cost, Light of the New Moon could still see play in decks looking for additional buffing options and potential card recycling strategies.
