About Lightning Rift
Lightning Rift, Enchantment, designed by Eric Peterson first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
This card, Lightning Rift, would benefit a cycling deck in Magic: the Gathering, where players cycle through their cards frequently. It can provide a consistent source of damage by paying a small cost whenever a card is cycled. However, there are more efficient options like Astral Drift or Astral Slide which offer more value and control over the board. Lightning Rift could still see play in a budget or casual cycling deck, but for competitive play, other options may be more optimal.
