About Sinful Steed
Sinful Steed, Minion - beast, designed by Zoltan Boros first released in August 2026 in the set Escape from Violet Hold.
Sinful Steed would mainly benefit a buff-oriented or board-centric Priest deck that can increase its Health and attack, since its unusual Reborn effect lets the second body return with those buffs and enchantments intact; it could also fit a Beast-themed deck, although Priest has very little meaningful Beast synergy. Despite that upside, a three-mana minion that primarily offers delayed stats has limited immediate impact and is vulnerable to silence, transformation, hard removal, and being ignored, so it is generally weaker than more proactive Priest options such as `Nerubian Vizier` for value or `Cathedral of Atonement` for scalable board buffs. Unless the deck is specifically built around repeated buffing or death-trigger value, Sinful Steed should not see competitive play.
