About Fleshshape
Fleshshape, Spell, designed by Stefan Bogdasarov first released in September 2026 in the set Reign of the Black Empire.
Fleshshape would mainly benefit a slower, minion-heavy Death Knight deck—especially a Deathrattle or Rainbow Death Knight list that keeps several large minions in hand—because the assembled Deathrattle minion provides immediate value while the +2/+2 hand buff improves future plays; however, it is likely too slow and inconsistent for competitive play if the assembled minion is random and the hand buff cannot affect the board immediately. In most decks, stronger alternatives such as **Corpse Bride** for immediate board development, **Mosh Pit** for reliable Deathrattle support, or **Grave Strength** for a decisive board-wide buff offer more consistent impact, so Fleshshape should generally not see play unless the assembled minion is unusually powerful or the deck is specifically built around hand buffs and Deathrattle synergies.
