Obsidiansmith would be beneficial in a Warrior deck that focuses on buffing minions and weapons, particularly in a deck that includes a lot of low-cost minions and weapons to maximize its Battlecry effect. However, there are better cards like Bloodsail Raider or Frothing Berserker that provide more consistent value in a Warrior deck, making Obsidiansmith less likely to see play in competitive decks.
