This Sunfury Champion card would be a great fit for a control or tempo deck that focuses on utilizing Fire spells for board control. However, there are better cards like Flamewaker or Daring Fire-Eater that offer more immediate impact or value, so Sunfury Champion may not see much play in competitive decks unless the meta shifts to favor its unique effect.
