Un mazo que se centra en la recursión y la disrupción del cementerio se beneficiaría de usar Down // Dirty en Magic: the Gathering. La capacidad de apuntar a un jugador para descartar cartas y devolver una carta del cementerio a la mano proporciona versatilidad para interrumpir la mano del oponente y recuperar cartas clave. Sin embargo, puede haber mejores opciones dependiendo de la estrategia específica del mazo, como Thoughtseize para descarte dirigido o Eternal Witness para recursividad en el cementerio, por lo que Down // Dirty puede no siempre tener juego en mazos competitivos.
