Lone Champion, Minion, designed by Jomaro Kindred first released in Nov, 2021 in the set Kobolds and Catacombs and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Lone Champion would be a great addition to a control or midrange deck that focuses on board control and maintaining a strong presence. While it can be a powerful defensive tool when played correctly, there are better options available such as Sunwalker or Tar Creeper that provide similar effects with more consistency and value. Lone Champion could see situational play in specific deck archetypes, but may not be a staple card in most competitive decks due to its conditional Battlecry and availability of stronger alternatives.
