This Tsunami card would be beneficial in a control mage deck that focuses on stalling the game and controlling the board. The ability to summon three 3/6 Water Elementals that freeze can help in slowing down aggressive decks and buying time to draw into more powerful late-game cards. However, there are better cards like Flamestrike that provide immediate board clear and can be more versatile in different situations. Tsunami could see play in specific mage decks that aim to control the board and outvalue the opponent.
