Impending Catastrophe would be most beneficial in a Warlock deck focused on summoning and maintaining a board of Imps, such as a Zoo Warlock deck. While it can potentially draw multiple cards if you have a significant number of Imps on the board, there are better cards like Dark Skies or Hand of Gul'dan that provide more consistent card draw or board clear. However, Impending Catastrophe could still see play in specific Imp-focused decks for its potential card draw value, especially in combination with cards that generate Imps.
