This card would be most beneficial in a control warrior deck that focuses on maintaining board control and surviving against aggressive opponents. While Bulwark of Azzinoth provides a unique form of protection for the hero, Shield Slam or Brawl might be better options for removal and board control. However, in certain metas where facing a lot of direct damage, this card could see play as a tech choice to protect the hero and stall the game.
