Affrontare l'Ignoto sarebbe vantaggioso in un mazzo verde che si concentra sulla generazione e sull'utilizzo di gettoni Indizio, poiché fornisce un aumento temporaneo di potenza a una creatura in base al numero di Indizi che controlli. Mentre potrebbe essere un'opzione decente in un mazzo a tema Indizio, ci sono potenzialmente carte migliori come Giuramento di Nissa o Sentiero delle Prove che offrono un valore più costante o vantaggio di carte. Se Affrontare l'Ignoto viene giocato dipenderà dalla strategia e dalle sinergie specifiche del mazzo, nonché dal livello complessivo di potenza del formato in cui viene giocato.
