Il Loxodon Sergeant sarebbe utile in un mazzo bianco o aggro che si concentra sull'attacco rapido ed efficiente. Sebbene la carta fornisca un temporaneo aumento di vigilanza alle altre creature quando entrano nel campo di battaglia, ci sono opzioni potenzialmente migliori come Benalish Marshal o Thalia, Guardian of Thraben che offrono abilità più coerenti e di grande impatto. Tuttavia, il Sergente Loxodon potrebbe ancora vedere il gioco in alcune strategie che richiedono un aumento temporaneo della vigilanza per una svolta cruciale.
