Questa carta, Soar, sarebbe utile in un mazzo che si concentra su creature volanti aggressive o strategie che richiedono l'evasione. Mentre fornisce un piccolo bonus di +0/+1 e volare alla creatura incantata, ci sono opzioni migliori disponibili come Venti Favorevoli o Aquila Empyrean che offrono bonus più impattanti a tutte le creature volanti. Soar potrebbe essere giocato in un mazzo economico o come carta tecnica situazionale, ma in generale ci sono scelte più forti per potenziare una strategia a tema volante in Magic: the Gathering.

The sacrifice occurs only if you cast it using its own ability. If you cast it using some other effect (for instance, if it gained flash from Vedalken Orrery), then it won’t be sacrificed.
