Waterboy could be beneficial in a control or combo deck that heavily relies on utilizing Hero Powers to gain an advantage, such as a Warlock deck with Life Tap or a Mage deck with Frost Lich Jaina. However, there are better cards like Garrison Commander that provide a more consistent and long-term benefit for Hero Power strategies. Waterboy may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited impact and vulnerability to removal, but could be a fun inclusion in more casual or themed decks for a surprise burst of tempo.
